Build your Laban skill set with expert guidance
Instructors Carol-Lynne Moore, considered one of the leading authorities on the Laban canon of thought, and Cate Deicher, choreographer and inter-disciplinary educator, have decades of experience  teaching Laban Movement Analysis at the undergraduate, graduate, and professional levels.  They are at their best helping people unlock the mysteries of human movement through the genius of Rudolf Laban’s ideas.

Revitalize
Two different workshops on Saturday, December 6th, provide unique opportunities to deepen understanding of the “Four Pillars of Laban Movement Analysis”— body, effort, shape, and space.  Great refreshers for CMAs!

Harmonize
The Sunday morning, December 7th, workshop explores the farther horizons of Laban’s thinking. This is an advanced theory workshop for movement analysts who want to know more about Laban’s notion of movement harmony.

Labanize
Sunday afternoon celebrates publication of the new college textbook, Meaning in Motion: Introducing Laban Movement Analysis.  The celebration begins with a lecture-demonstration, “10 New Ways to Bring Laban Theory to Life in the Classroom and Studio,” and culminates with a reception and book signing.
